Even though it's an older movie (2003), I just watched Confidence and it is a great Heist-Thriller.

Edward Burns
Rachel Weisz
Paul Giamatti
Luis Guzman
Dustin Hoffman

How can you go wrong?

I saw Half Blood Prince on DVR and I did enjoy it. Did it help that I was under the influence? Maybe, but it helped fog my memory of the happenings from the book

maybe it is. i enjoyed it. i'm a fan of jason schwartzmann, though. it was just an all-around good movie, especially if you're a nerd.

i can understand why a lot of people into hockey and sports wouldn't like a film oriented with video games and music.

It's a film about a kid who fights a bunch of guys who used to go out with this one chick, right? He does it in a sort of comic book hero way?

Yea, and I think it looks delightful. It's much less comic book-inspired and much more late 80's/early 90's video game-inspired, though (the movie at least). I think it looks fun and I'd go see it.

it was a good movie, but it was just creepy. I know what they did with the brains was common medical practice, but its still creepy as hell

Shouldn't we start a Don't Recommend a Movie thread? For example, tell people about a movie that you thought was shit and recommend that they stay away?

Go for it. Sounds pretty negative though.
