Don't know if I already posted this, but by far, one of the best movies I have ever seen. Mind you, I am not "Siskel and Ebert" by any stretch of the imagination, but it was an amazing movie. A couple of "Heaven" and "God" references, but get past that part of it for the agnostics amongst us and watch.

It's almost three hours, but I promise you, you will be riveted. It was on Biography channel twice this past week.

The trailer doesn't do it justice, but it is worth the rental just the same.

Also:

Another Stephen King movie:

"Fall from Grace," is a terrific documentary regarding the Phelps family and the Westboro Baptist Church. It's very tastefully done, especially regarding such a polarizing subject, and does a lot more than just completely demonize the group, although one can easily argue that they deserve such a depiction.

"4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days," is also a terrific film. Very plot and character driven, as well as foreign. The story regards some touchy subject matter and at times isn't for the weak of heart. Don't watch unless you want to see something a bit on the heavy side and don't mind reading subtitles.

"Das Experiment," a German film based heavily on the Standford Prison experiment. Not the greatest movie ever made, but it was enthralling as all hell.

Alice in Wonderland is worth seeing. but be warned, its not a literal Alice in Wonderland story. Its similar to Hook.

anyone against a thread for Movie Trailers, or would that stuff fit here?

Night Watchers was pretty enjoyable. It was quite silly and the foreshadowing was painfully obvious, but it was still a lot of fun, regardless. Probably gonna watch Day Watchers later.

I can't wait for the third film to come out in that trilogy...Nightwatch and Daywatch are definitely both silly fun, and that's why I like 'em.

Once the English title for the film is decided upon, I'll hunt down Dawn Watch (I think that's what they're going with).

It's either Dawn or Twilight Watch, from what I've read. I hope they go with the former based on the associations one of the words in the later title has now.

You should check out the translated novels (being that their like, the most epic Russian fantasy works ever)...there's this whole deep, dense mythology that has a magician rating system for the likes of Merlin and Jesus (YEP THEY GO THERE, JESUS IS JUST A WIZARD lolol) and more.

I'd probably only be able to check those out this summer at the soonest. I'm ridiculously far behind for my independent reading in my English class and I don't think those would qualify as acceptable works.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 is pretty good, I would recommend this if you like action movies with Denzel Washington
