That's high school though, you've still got many more books to read lol.

Note to self: The Assassin is a fan of Orwell.

If that isnt' a massive clue to the Assassin's identity then I don't know what it.

Proletariat originated with Marx, not Orwell.

Somebody read the Communist Manifesto around here . . . but it was mentioned on the old boards. But I remember someone did.

I've read the Manifesto multiple times.

And generally when referring to Marxist works, the word Proletariat is used, as the word Prole is a specific term used to refer to the general populous in 1984. Just sayin'.

I think it was you then, you sounded like you were reading it just for fun.

Okay then.

the religous aspect rules him out, because Rud has previously told me that he was never confirmed

You can be Christian and not be a Catholic, surprisingly.

I knew that, but after I realized who it was, it wouldn't make sense for him to use the word and then draw attention to himself if he was the assassin.

Or maybe this is just a rather clever ruse and I'm playing mind games.

I know. Here's a whole list of Christian denominations I found on Wikipedia:

Catholic
Roman Catholic · Anglican · Independent Catholic · Old Catholic
Protestant
Lutheran · Reformed · Anabaptist · Baptist · Methodist · Adventist · Evangelical · Holiness · Pentecostal
Eastern
Eastern Orthodox · Oriental Orthodox (Miaphysite) · Assyrian
Nontrinitarian
Jehovah's Witness · Latter Day Saint · Unitarian · Christadelphian · Oneness Pentecostal

Maybe Phil was raised with religion, but now that he's on his own, he chooses not to participate in religion.

You're actually hitting the nail on the head with that assumption, Laura, but I can say that I am in fact not the assassin.

few nitpicking things

Anglicans are Protestants, Catholicism is not a denomination, the term roman catholic church is not correct(but, is in common practice), because withing Catholicism there are 23 rites, including the 22 Eastern rites and the Latin rite

and, i will admit that i left out (knowing for sure) that Orthodoxy has Confirmation, and i believe Lutheranism has it also

(im not touching the other bits of theology in parts of that)

The Assassin said they were not a top ten poster.

depending on how often they post regularly and all that. that clue could change.

Just for posterity's sake:
1 mechaphil 3716

That's the results from doing a member search based on descending number of total posts. Trust me, all, I'm not the assassin.
