Perhaps the number of whole steps between each note designates a letter of the alphabet.

Let me do some translating.

EDIT: Just for my reference:

E D A E-flat C E E C F-sharp B E-flat C G G-sharp F-sharp B-flat B D-flat D-natural G G-sharp F F C G-sharp F-sharp G-sharp G-natural

Okay here's the whole note step pattern:

1-2.5-3-1.5-4-0-5-3-8.5-4-1.5-2.5-.5-5-2-.5-6.5-.5-2-.5-4.5-0-2.5-2-5.5-5.5-.5

If I take all the steps that have a half step with them (any number with a .5) and use the first number to get a letter from the alphabet, using O for .5 as there is no letter, this is what I come up with:

BAHABOOFOODBEE

Somebody wanna put that in the Anagram solver?

There's 1351 http://wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=BAHABOOFOODBEE&language=english&t=0&d=&include=&exclude=&n=&m=&source=adv&a=n&l=n&q=n&k=1

Does anyone remember the Internet game called Notpr0n/deathball?

There was a level in there about deciphering music notes as follows:
Level 63: get the notes, they are C F B A A E A A B G C E D B A E C D B B C E C B C A C B C G B E A A C D, CA is O and DE is Z, means that 2 notes makes 1 letter like this AA is A , AB is B, AC is C ... AG is G , BA is H, decoding u get "theanswerispopular" so the answer is http://www.deathball.net/notpron/love/popular.htm = popular.htm

(Ignore the actual link, it's part of the deathball game)

Does that logic make sense to anyone if applied to our clue?

Anyway, I applied the same logic to the clue letters and it's jibberish (unless the two combo letters equal a different letter) = FESEKEWKKBVLVW. The only thing I can deduce from it, if it follows the deathball theory, is that every two letters equals one meaning our victim would have 14 letters in their name (BTSU, STP, SATW, MsRB, ATL). Can someone play the notes backwards please?

I'm guessing none of you have ever played deathball? Try making it through 82 levels :D http://notpron.org/notpron/levelone.htm

yea i was going to suggest playing the melody backwards. Or even maybe using the base clef, same notes different clef or same arrangement different clef different sound.

because of all the low notes, does that mean it may be a guy?

tenors use the G clef, bases use the base clef.

Some are on the right path with this clue. If you take a good look at it, it may come to you easier.

Okay. We need to go back to see who said what.

I think taking a good look at it, means the picture.
Just like last time. I showed it to my son tonight who plays piano and the first thing he said was it makes little sense and that the image itself looked like a mountain range. His next statement was; "It's nothing more than a bunch a dots Acrossthelines" :D

I've played around with the image and blown it up to the point where it hurt my eyes. There are definitely a lot of colors in there - not visible until magnified.

The colors mean nothing, if you type with Anti-Aliasing on the font will be smooth and many colors will appear to make black smooth against any background.

The colors will mean nothing. It is the notes it seems, or some pattern by them.

Those are the only notes, in order, that have flat, sharp, or natural designations on them.

She was hinting that ATL was the next target.. since the notes span "across the lines" = ATL... i def think she should be protected by a popo.

She said in her last sentence about she blew it up and many colors came out, I was just pointing out the colors would mean nothing with AA on pictures or text.

Knowing the note names mean nothing, but then again, they play an important part to this clue. Find a way to make those notes turn into Letters of the alphabet and you will all facepalm when you find out the answer and how simple it could be, or complicated if you are completely music illiterate.

Wozniak, try doing the alphabet with sharps and flats also, instead of just the lines and spaces. Corresponding just regular notes. See if that brings anything.
