when my dad keeps trying to convince me to fly, then turns around and talks in graphic detail about black box recordings of past crashes where the only sound they record is pilots screaming.

makes me want to just fly tomorrow.

also, his friend was killed in a plane crash when i was little.

I have a friend/former co-worker who could not stand the feel of having to change the register tape (paper). She had such an aversion, she'd call one of us to change the tape for her. Not so unusual. I think it is a medical condition.

Tactile Defensiveness.. or something like that.

Aerospace engineering.

US History was boring, Gov was a ton of fun, Economics and Stats were a breeze. Wish I would have taken World.

Economics is so hard for me! I liked US History better than World, probably because I actually had to do work in that class. I like Stats too, but probably because I love my teacher.

I know a few people who are like that...my best friend says he can't stand the feeling of the fibers pulling apart when someone pulls apart a cotton ball.

Economics is very straightforward. There's a graph for everything. As my old economics teacher always said, draw the graph! If you remember the graphs you're golden.

That eventually led me to accounting.

WOW. I had no idea anyone else was the same way! I don't know if it's a predatory reaction, but still an interesting read.

I love when my dog audibly farts and then looks at everyone in the room like, "What are you looking at me for? I didn't do that."

The only thing that REALLY gets my blood boiling is being the only fucking defenseman back on 3 on 1's and we get scored on. The other guys look at me like it's my fault while they're coasting, coming back over half. Then the goalie claims that he was hung out to dry with no help. That shit really grinds my gears. And I'm the one who always gets infront of shots to block them. Christ, I'm still sporting welts all over my legs from 3 weeks ago and add to it every weekend.

as a goalie, aud, we HAVE to blame the defense. once we blame ourselves, its all down hill. however, if i see a d-man try, and it still goes in, i wont blame him.

I need you in my beer league then!

This one guy who plays, never gives props to anyone for trying when both the goalie and the one guy playing back are left to fend for themselves. But, if he makes a great save, everyone hears about it. I mean, he is a good goalie and all, but it would be nice to be credited for the bumps and bruises I've endured so it was a save or shot he wouldn't have to make or be faced with. Ahhhh, someday maybe.

I have a dream, lol
