 Ok color is now done....its shaded unbelievably but I cant get the writing lighting or camera to really show it. My artist is actually putting together a book of his best work and he said he might want this on the cover, renting a photographer, studio the whole 9 so it'll look much better.....But here it is....26 hours later and only the shoulder cap left to finish...the pic that looks like stitches is someone elses idea im using to top it off, where all the wavy black lines are up top will turn into torn flesh being stitched together...making the whole thing appear like its being torn off/sewed back on my arm

Ok, so....besides Mechaphil, whose opinion I actually value after being a member around these parts for almost a year, I see little response about my ink, which is fine. Not the reason I posted it in the first place. But, after this evening of a discussion about my tattoo as it is and where's its going I was told I was a "poser" and a "fake" and would like to see what the consensus around these parts was.... I got my monster tat, the one you all see in this thread, that I'm honestly at, or approaching 26 hours of work on because of a personal issue I had with a something I prefer to keep to myself. Shit was real bad with me for awhile but I beat the hell out of my personal issue so bad I thought that after wanting a tat since I was 18 and never having a good enough reason to get one, the shit I just beat was worthy of ink. So I picked a typically "religious" symbol as what I wanted for its symbolism and not necessarily what it represented religiously....which everyone knows by know is St. Michael the Archangel slaying the Devil as my half sleeve. So I tell this guy tonight the next part of my half sleeve is gonna be a quote by Einstein of "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." |

I think it looks pretty sweet. I think anyone who gets a sleeve is anything but a poser or fake, and every sleeve I've seen looks legit awesome. |

But, just cuz you're not a poser or fake doesn't mean you aren't a d-bag. Not saying you are, but I'm just saying sleeves are the preferred tattoo of d-bags and it sucks. |
