fly, seeing you walk around in a signed jersey like that makes me depressed.

Why?

its because i view signed things such as your jersey (which looks like its signed by multiple players) as a valuable/collectible item and seeing it being worn out just makes be weep. ;) the same thing happened when i see my fiend wear a signed brewers hat or when a woman at work traced over the autographs of Kane and Towes to try to make them stand out better.

It's signed by the entire team pratically...except for Miller hahaha. Go figure. I actually want to "retire" that jersey and get a new third one...but I think I'm going to hold off until next season when the vintage logo becomes our primary one again.

Okay, story time...

My dad used to work in broadcasting and he used to travel with the team back in the 70s, and he's still friends with Joe Crozier... Anyways, Joe is a very charming man and one day when we went to pick up our tickets for our mini-pack, we paid Joe a visit and he told the guy who is Sabretooth to take me on a full tour of the arena -- including the players hallway. So as I was down there the players were leaving from practice earlier and they all signed my jersey...except for Miller because apparently he was in a meeting or something and I felt creepy waiting around for him so I just left after the rest of the guys signed my jersey. I didn't get Gaustad's either.

thats pretty bad ass. shame about miller and gaustad. have you tried the open practices? when i got my stick signed by most of the 96 team my uncle took us to the open practice and we waited by the area where players came out of the locker room (i was snubbed by Hasek...bastard). anyway, if they still have the open practices and they let you wait, see if you can get them then. other idea would be to see of your dad could get Crozier to get it for you.

either way, i wish i had that jersey.

I go to the open practices all the time...but I don't know, I'm not really crazy about waiting around to get an autograph. I mean, it was awesome to have my jersey signed like that...but in the same breath I never really found a player's signature that appealing, you know? It's just not a big deal for me either way.

Don't worry, Caro - you're not missing out. Goose and Miller have NEVER stopped, from what I hear...they certainly haven't the half a dozen times I've gone.

I've gotten Miller four times. Last time was a few years ago though.

Usually he's the first guy out of the parking lot. If he ends up leaving later it seems like he's more apt to sign.

Never have seen Gaustad sign though.

Looking at her reaction, I hope you had a plan B.

To be honest, I've only started going a couple of season ago. Miller either sneaks out early, or trots out with another player, and then scoots while his teammate is stuck with autosgraphs. Lame.

Apparently he signed autographs after the home opener. Wasn't there though...I was with YOU! :D
