I just started listening to Bill Burr's podcast and he has a bit called overrated/underrated. I know hes not the first person or the only person to do this but I just thought it would make for a great thread here. It could be sports related but in no way does it have to be. I find it absolutely hilarious to hear peoples takes on some random shit. I'll start....

Overrated:

Lap dances. I can go beat off and get more accomplished. It won't cost me $40 and I won't stink like the weekly Redlight Special perfume from Wal-Mart.....

Underrated:

Boxer Briefs. Keep your shit in place like briefs but dont ride up your ass all day....

I'm still thinking of some examples, but had to comment first on my complete agreement with your over/under.

I'm guessing that making them flat makes them more susceptible to folding/bending. The hollow structure actually has more strength. Similar to the idea behind the I-beam.

Overrated: stirring tea/coffee in a circular motion.
Underrated: stirring in a horizontal/back-and-forth motion. Gets the work done in about 10% of the time.

They are only good for douchey teenagers chomping on them. Every time I see that I want to smack them in the face.
