Okay. I'll tell Icehound. If I croak, he'll know who I accused and my clue was totally in A.SKI.LHS09. he knows who he is ;)

I have been downgraded to the normal poster.... Oh wait... der... haha :) so the A.SKI.LHS09 is the clue? like... name? mixed letters?

No one would never figure out the first 4 letters. The last three however and the two numbers could be a hint to a local, but you'd really have to have followed it. I could still be wrong, but the evidence I will provide is way far to coincidental.

^^ I can't enlighten you ^^ All protects have been made this round so I can't do anything till the next. I soooooooooo have this person NAILED it isn't funny. I'm not giving anything away. I still want to see people guess the target in the next round then I'll post my accusation.

We can make accusations with every protect being made.

You're trying to protect others, yet you're trying to find out who the assassin is also, and at the same time.

Unless they put a rule that said once all protects have been made, no accusations could be made.

Good work Schony! I never would have figured it out, but I know who you're going to pick. The assassin's last clue to his identity finally makes sense.

This is going to be the most comprehensive accusation ever written :-)
I am trying to protect his identity (forum name wise) on another site.

I accuse Sabres2Sabres of being the Assassin because of ;

1) After posting the link to the Science Olympiad site on page 5, I happened upon the name of a forum member (there) who I remember used the exact name in his Profile name the old Sabres boards in 06/07.

Thinking it was a coincidence, I looked into it a bit further. Mind you, the person on the Olympiad site gives no information as to their location. After seeing the link I posted, Sabres2Sabres replied in the assassin thread with;

Sabres2Sabres wrote:
"Woah...that's a Science Olympiad website! I did Science Olympiad for all four years of high school."

2) *The assassin may be a Police Officer *A Police Officer may protect another Police Office

Sabres2Sabres wrote:
So I picked a member and gave them a weapon and put them in a place...nevermind... Are you saying that there's something that makes this point to you? In that case I protect SchonyGal.

In the Olympiad site, this person wrote; "Even if he/she told you, you wouldn't be alive to know it, right? Ah, nevermind...

3) Uses imageshack as his modus operandi in the Olympiad site to wit:
http://img5.imageshack.usblockedonpurpose/img (and here)

4) Always knows his stuff about monitors & LCD. He's always the first to post here when anyone has a question about tv's etc. From The Olympiad site; "I'd think this might have a lot to do with your monitor, and the settings on your monitor. Most inexpensive LCD monitors are TN (twisted nematic), which are not very accurate for color-critical work."

From the lounge thread last week under HDTV, Sabres2sabres writes:
Sabres2Sabres wrote:
"Thus, the higher the refresh rate, the crisper motion will be for an LCD TV. A 120 Hz LCD will refresh the picture twice as much as a 60 Hz LCD - 120 times per second. While the source material will still only refresh 60 times per second, these extra refreshes will help the segments change color quicker - thus motion will appear crisper."

5) Olympiad site; Talks about going to college (in the fall 09/10) and lists a few schools. In a later thread (very recent) refers to a band who just played "at his school." I checked the tour dates and sure enough, one matches the college he spoke of. I also know for a fact Sabres2Sabres just entered college.

6) The real eye opener? When someone at the Olympiad site asked what one of the methods the current (outed) assassin used to developement a clue, their reply was; " http://audacity.sourceforge.net/"

Sabres2Sabres on these forums, wrote the same thing in the lounge
Sabres2Sabres wrote:
Use Audacity to open the file or record it, then save it as a 30 second or less Mp3 at 48 kbps mono. Change the file extension to midi

7) The clincher for me? When I finally found his post on Science Olympiad as follows; " Go Bills! Well, I am disappointed, but also somewhat optimistic at the same time. Yeah, the Bills lost, but they played a good game. Edwards and the offense looked good, the offensive line was good, the defense was effective against the run and held a lot of should-be-touchdowns to field goals. If Leodis McKelvin wasn't such an idiot, we would have won.

8) Don't Eat Uncooked Chicken Eggs = DEUCE. Meaning "two", "two of" or a pair... HAHAHA Sabres2Sabres

So, like I wrote on November 5th;
SchonyGal wrote:
There is also two more that people are overlooking. One is very high on my list of suspects ;)
If this isn't a complementary accusation, I don't know what is. S2S, you've know for a long time that I've thought you're the smartest teen I've ever met :D

And now for the second accusation;
"SchonyGal and I (HOCKEYisLOVEx24) accuse Sabres2Sabres of being the Assassin because if "Don't eat uncooked chicken eggs" spells DEUCE with the first letters, deuce means two and his username has a 2 in it and there is the word "Sabres" two times." I believe he is smart and cunning.

That made sense to you?! :lol: I told you I was no good at solving clues, but I'm good at profiling and finding people. I did it for a living for a few years in the mid to late nineties; albeit the people I was looking for AND found where dead ones ;)

Now I can't play in the next round because I get to pick the nest assassin. I'm bummed. I love this game :clap:
