Not bad. I'd take slight issue with The Sims, but then I remember how much it sucked my life away.

Geometry Wars is a GREAT inclusion to that list.

I'd also suggest:

Baldurs Gate
Civilization or Age of Empires
Total War

And even though it's new, I think Dragon Age: Origins will change the genre as we know it.

Then I'd have to go back to BG...the list is for most "influential".
NWN was indeed the better game, but I think that was just a product of better technology, not concept.

BG absolutely knocked my socks off when I first played it.

I thought Age of Empires was awful, in all its incarnations.

For RTS, Starcraft or Total Annihilation. There is no equal.

Well, that list isn't about popular, or even "good" for that matter.

/Cops the TV show isn't good, but as the first reality TV show it was extremely influential.

They should do a list of the modern era, that being when a majority of people have internet access. Then games like Starcraft and WoW get magnified.
