me and my friend have tried playing online. we have both the most recent updates and our internet connections work (we were playing MW2 before hand).

the first time we tried the invite was accepted but we never got to pick teams or anything. it kind of froze. this time it just said "there was an error in the connection..."

so im asking, is there something we were doing wrong? a different setting that we should be using? anything?

Make sure your connection can handle host of a game.

Check your NAT type. I'm sure I could never host a game, but I can play them fine.
