When XBL decides a host, the game actually happens on that person's xbox, unlike a game like world of warcraft, where all the actions happen on a hosted server, so everything happens at the same time (more or less) for everyone. On XBL, if you have the host advantage, in case of a "tie", or what you would perceive as a "I shot him first instance", the host wins. |

I never see the host with an advantage. I see the host's connection when the game has to stop for a second. |

The host advantage does suck. I've seen it happen a few times where I know I shot first but got killed first. Sometimes it's very noticeable, and other times it's not a big deal. Normally it happens if you're on a 2 bar connection and the host has 4, you'll notice it, but if you're all running 4 bar or 3 bar connections, you're golden. |

I just bought a new Xbox last week, and my brother bought Black Ops. The game gets intense online, I always end up yelling FU! at others. He's the one who's good though, I just tag along online in two-player. |

I returned to Battlefield since there are new maps available and Vietnam is out (I think). I'm average in both games, but Battlefield is more fun for me (only the multiplayer). EDIT: I hate that the co-op missions are gone in BO. It was the best part of MW2. Shooting zombies gets boring really soon. |

I just read through the thread and thought I'd share my return to BC2 and that I miss the co-ops I never cared about the comparison or which is better. Every game has its ups and downs. |

I have a 1.60 KD ratio I think? I usually get maybe 20-32 kills each game but I die a lot too (maybe 12-14 times a game). |
