Valve has realeased the new game ALIEN SWARM for free on their Steam market. Just download the Stream client and you'll be able to find a link to install Alien Swarm for free on the main page of the client. Steam is supposed on PC and Mac, so no one has to miss out. And the system requirements for Alien Swarm are exceedingly easy to meet. Alien Swarm is a top down view shooter that behaves in a similiar fashion to games such as Smash TV. The game plays out in the form of several missions to clear a colony of an alien parasite infestation. There's four classes in the game; the officer, the special weapons marine, the technician and the medic. Each has their own strength and, while not techincially required for every mission, it's hard to progress without either of them. Up to four play co-op is supposed, and it's pretty much essential to survive. If you download it and want to play sometime, hit me on up Steam. My steam ID is the same as my username here, RUd. |
