Im sure most of you gamers out there have played Half Life 1 and 2 and all the extra episodes that came with 2. Well Valve decided they were going to re-do half life 1 and name it Black Mesa Source. Also this game is going to be completely free to those of us who have a steam account with a steam game already. It looks pretty intense. Im excited to get it.

BM:S isn't a Valve project. It's a project from 3rd party devs that rebuilt the original Half Life on the Source engine. (HL original was built on a modified Quake engine.)

It's still going to be cool though.

lol I was under the impression that Valve was remaking it, but I have been known to be wrong. Needless to say G-man looks SICK in the trailer. Ultimate Bad/Good guy.

Yeah, Valve isn't working on it, but they're not killing the project from the people that are working on it. Unlike most companies out there, they're supportive of the idea and are looking forward to playing it.

I betcha some of the folks working on this get hired. That's what happened to the Portal guys. :)

Cool story - over 20 years ago, two hackers fudged with a Pac-Man arcade unit and programmed him to wear a pink bow. Namco found out, hired them, and Ms. Pac-Man was born. They're now execs at Namco.
