Why would they add a female to the game for?

No offense to ladies, but there aren't any females in the NHL.

Women don't exist on the internet or on video games.

the EAsports rating system sucks. i remember when a star player would be rated an 80, and youd have 4th liners rated in the low 60s (some teams in the 50s)... now everyone is between a 75 and an 85 with few exceptions. it sucks now, IMO. nhl 2001s rating system was the best by far. maybe ill go through the game and change EVERYONES ratings to what i think it should be. but that would take a while.

I wish in BAP you'd be able to rocket up the ratings faster, after 6+ years of leading the NHL in goals and points, you'd think that player would be in the mid to high 90's by then, not relying on boost in order to just be a 90 rated player.

i wish ratings changed throughout the season some. you know, a young player develops and thus might be ready for the NHL in the second half, ya know?

im in a sim league, and players attributes are updated after every game and practice. sometimes they dont change but thats because they havnt developed further. its pretty cool to a see a 50 OA player go to be a 85 OA player.

heres a pretty bad review on NHL 12. he suggests that like its NBA live/elite series, EA sports should shelve the NHL series for a couple of years to retool and reinvent.

That guy doesn't think hockey is exciting.

His credibility just went out the window on that remark.

Well first off, the guy says "it can't compare to Madden or Fifa". I've played Madden and I've played Fifa. I prefer NHL over both.

i did feel he was pretty spot on some ways (obviously not about nhl 12, just in general)
but the series has gotten stagnate in a way. since 07, it hasnt changed much, same engine, ect. they never used the same engine for games for more then... 3 years it seems.

ill get the game, and ill probably enjoy it alot. but i do hope EAsports makes some big changes next year.

and a couple of posts ago, i bitched about the ratings. i finally figured out why that bothers me. besides the parity, which i already mentioned, one of the things i loved was taking a team, and trading away all the good players for draft picks, filling in the roster with prospects and AHLers, and using drafts and free agency as a way to fill holes, noticeably. with all the parity now, its super easy to trade an 82 rated player for a pick, then just get another one. it was fun to actually see your team improve. that doesnt happen much anymore.

eitherway, im a big critic of the NHL series, and i do enjoy getting the game every year. i just think theres way to improve the game. like my rewind suggestion. say you wanna start a be a GM in 2003, you get the 2003 rosters (with upcoming draft classes)... would that even be hard to do? they already have the players made in their past databases.

The engine changed in NHL 11 with realistic physics.
