Forza 3 was just released today and I picked up my copy. I've been waiting for this game for a long time and for the past few weeks have been playing the snot out of Forza 2. The game looks very impressive with over 400 cars and 100 tracks, I can't wait to play it.

Has anyone else here bought this game?

I haven't bought it, but I *wish* I could. Not even for the racing, I had a blast with the livery editor in Forza 2. I loved painting the cars. I usually stuck with simplistic 2d stuff, but it was fun none the less and I made some good (in game)cash off of it. :) Here's a few examples:

This was my very first car.... I wasn't very good.

Still not very good...

I played it for awhile last night. It is a different game from 2, and can be a bit overwhelming at first with all of the cars, modifications, settings, etc. The menu isn't as easy to use as 2, but just takes some time to get used to. They do have a lot more cars from automakers such as Alfa Romeo, Fiat, as well as legendary cars like the BMW E30 M3, Ford RS200, and the Audi Sport Quattro. The inside view is a really neat feature and very accurate. I think overall it is a great game, it will just take some time to get used after playing 2 for so long.
