thats one of the reason i like to play old nhl games. i dont feel the attachment to older, long gone players, so i try to develop rookies and such and move older players. in current games, i dont do that as much.

Yea, same here. I normally have to let them walk when they get rated so high and I can no longer afford to spend 30 million on a farm team anymore.

But It's fine with me though, it makes the team better overall.

Well played this again last night, sent to the AHL, but I didn't want to mess around really so I turned every human attribute to the highest possible level to see if it helps me get called up quicker, I also played an entire game with my line and won 14-0.

Basically in 5 AHL games I have 24 points. Went 1 point in first game, nothing in second game, 5 in third game, 5 in fourth game, and 13 in the fifth game, and I scored 9 goals that game.

I just want to hit the NHL and I want to dominate the AHL, hahaha. I know it's cheating sorta, but then again, I don't care about the AHL really.

Man, am I jealous of ya'll.

Playing BAP in PS2 NHL 09, and it's so easy! My guy got like 160 points in his first year.

Second year, have like 25 goals in 12 games, but whenever I try to pass the puck to my linemates, they pass it back, even if they have a tap-in.

Stupid NHL 09....

Superstar hardcore is near impossible, good luck at that when you get to it.

Anyone still pissed that the Sabres thirds are not right? They should be darker.

Haha, I have 34 goals in 10 games and 15 assists for 49 points in the AHL.

I have scored 4 or more goals in my past 5 or 6 games, and have scored 8 or 9 in like 2 of them.

If you score a goal you'll get first overall. That's how I got first overall and it was such a fluke goal too. I shot the puck and it was like ten seconds later when the defender put it into his own goal also.

Really wish I had a video of that goal now.

Well it also depends on what teams might need in the game. Because if you go into choose your own team it says what it needs for the most part.

I was a sniping center so the Islanders drafted me after that goal.

Yea dude you should, and if you're into FPS get MW2, we can play online sometime.

Jvacc plays NHL online and would probably be glad to play with you if you're decent, I'm not a huge fan of NHL 10 online, but I've yet to play it online also.
