So I restarted my BAP and scored a goal in the prospects game, so that let me get drafted FIRST OVERALL.

I make a promise to myself not to sim a single game, because then i know i'll go sim crazy.

If I even sim like two games a season, I get unattached to the players

Well I just made the entire Sabres Roster a 99, and I got beat by then Penguins 6-3, so Miller still sucks.

I couldn't believe how crappy the team could play, but I did have 59 PIMs and they had close to the same.

Well I just did the battle for the Cup thing with my Sabres team of 99 against Detroit.

Playing fair I lost the first three games, the third game was Bullshit as how I lost and the first two I couldn't score a goal to save my life. I was playing on hardcore All-star mode also. And that is hard, even with a team that every player is rated 99 I couldn't beat the CPU, or it was very hard to beat the CPU, even with auto shot aiming.

I just set up NHL 10 so that the Sabres REAL goal horn plays when they score. Not the Islanders. I had to download the real goal horn which had the song Beautiful after it, so everytime i score in HSBC Arena the real horn goes off, then the song beautiful plays. There's about a 3 second delay between the goal and the horn, but it's way better than listening to the Islanders horn they gave us in HSBC arena haha.

I also got NHL 10, scoring is considerably more difficult this year... but I'm finding more success online than off. I played my 10th ranked game last night, and have a nice record of 7-1-2. About 2.5 goals per game for and 1.7 against, so the games are much closer (As they should be).

I'm really impressed with the EA Sports Vancouver team, they continually make the best sports games around year after year. As long as they continue the tradition, I'll be buying the games.

I might play this, I'll see if I want to or not.

I'm bored and need to decide on one of my games to play.

You can change those songs? Whereabouts?

(Keep in mind I just got my XBOX back on Tuesday, and have all of 2 games in right now. :p )

On the main menu there is an option somewhere where it says custom songs.

Just find it and make sure you have the songs saved to your HDD and you can make the songs what you want.

Guys, mess around with the gamplay sliders. Turn the shot power for human/CPU up one notch, and maybe adjust the game speed.

Choose whatever one you like. Buffalo has more than one goal horn, with song options.

http://www.2khockey.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7762

Save these goal horns to a disk. Put the disk into your XBOX and burn it. Then you can select from the menu. Now when you score, the goal horn will have a little delay before it comes on because you are only putting the horn as the "Goal Song" not the actual goal horn. So you might as well leave the goal horn volume turned all the way up to fill the delay.

So it will go....
1)Puck in net
2)Default goal horn will go off
3)After default goal horn, the one you uploaded will come on.

They made this game much smarter.

To win on superstar with hardcore settings you basically have to wait for the cpu to make a mistake.

Most people will pinch and get caught and probably lose the game.

If you play sound defense, you will win most of the games. You didn't have to do that in nhl 09.

Sounds like a tough game, I was getting tired of skating up ice and then shooting from the blueline with Kaleta and acutally scoring. *online to boot*

Go to All-star with Hardcore and you won't beat the computer, even with a rated with everybody at 99.

I edited every Sabres player to 99 and was losing 3 games to none in the Battle for the cup against Detroit.
