OK...so I'm not really a console gamer anymore, I get my kicks on the PC these days.
But...I got a Wii over the weekend because I've got a little girl and it's easy to figure out and my wife wanted Wii fit, it has more titles for kids etc. etc.

I'm the type of person that can't leave well enough alone and I like to void warranties. I've hacked my TiVo's, my PSP, chip modded my PS1 and PS2...crap like that.

So I start poking around today and there are some pretty cool hacks for the Wii. One in particular I want to figure out is getting it to play .iso games from a USB drive.
Does anyone here have any experience with the homebrew channel for the Wii or used any image loading apps?

My particular problem is I have the newest firmware 4.2u which, of course, Nintendo has made the most difficult to modify.
I've already tried a couple methods that have just crashed the poor thing.

I know nothing about hacking anything, unless you mean up phlegm. I can tell you Wii is cool though, and we use our Wii fit quite a bit in our household. Rebecca actually used it in her physical therapy and now we have one so she can continue progressing at home.

If you find out anything about the home brew channel, let me know.

PS: I'm thinking about making my wort for my first batch of homebrew tonight. Any chance you could PM me your phone number for a few questions?

Heh...well I may have hacked it myself anyway...need to run some tests now...

The homebrew channel I referenced is for homebrew software / games, not beer sadly ;)

But hell yeah, check your mailbox for a PM.
Did you know Saturday is national "Teach a friend to brew day"?
