Santorum is everything I fear from the right. A religious bigot with a simple mind, fundamentalist ideals and an Evangelical like mindset that the world is faithless and needs fixing.

The problem is that our nation has been driven so far into the dirt that the last resort people have *IS* faith...

Shit man I know. There are so many people that are frustrated and have bought into the fear mongering soup of religion and politics. The past five years of living in Colorado Springs where the Evangelical idiots home base markets its campaign from was an eye opener. People really believe that what is wrong with this country isn't greed and politics but rather a lack of faith and Christian morals. Somehow they believe that if we align laws on abortion, sexual behavior and marriage with their beliefs, put the whole country on a Christian highway so to speak, kick out all the Jews, Muslims etc and then give all of us a choice between being born again or getting the fuck out of the country then the good old US of A would be divinely righted. Sad.

My wife tells me he was Dan Savage's roomate in college. Dan Savage is the author of the column Savage Love, and is one of the most famous gay men in the US. Well, Savage hates the guy and has given the name Santorum to the anal leakage of jizz and other fluid that comes out after anal sex. Just a little mental image for you all to think of when you think of Rick Santorum.
