I've seen it, but his spending cuts are vague. The only thing that he specifically outlines in his plan are tax cuts.

It's great that he wants to lower taxes for both corporations and people to save us some money and spur job growth, but he says he'll have to "collaborate with congress to figure out what he'll be able to cut."

Grow a fucking sack and tell us what YOU'D like to cut. Otherwise, your budget plan technically fuels our national debt faster than Obama's does... and that's saying something.

Not to mention, Romney's tax plan favors the wealthy moreso than the middle class.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/wealthy-c ... 00576.html

Quote:
Assuming the Bush tax cuts are extended, the Romney plan would give the top 1% of earners an average tax cut of $150,000, a 7.8% reduction in their average federal tax rate, according to the Tax Policy Center.
Americans in the middle 20% of income-earners would get an average tax cut of $810, a 1.4% tax rate reduction.

Except, you know...Presidents can't write tax legislation.
So they can say what they''d like to do but that doesn't mean anything unless congress wants to play ball.

And congress sucks at everything.

Not true. They're really good at remaining congressman, getting their dicks sucked by major corporations, and spending our money.

That doesn't matter. Presidents sign the final bill. Presidents can veto tax and budget legislation.

The fact that Presidents can't write tax legislation isn't stopping him from saying he'll lower your taxes.

The point is, he's not giving congress a starting point. He's not voicing his support for the cuts we need to balance the budget. That's because he isn't going to do it.

That's why I'm puzzled by your support of Romney. Budget wise, he's no better than Obama.

Civil rights wise? He said he would have supported NDAA. He supports the Patriot Act. He's all for going to war with Iran. He helped Obama draft Obamacare. He supported the stimulus act.

What separates this guy from Obama, outside of his party affiliation?

Still allowed NDAA to pass, which is inherently unconstitutional.

I wonder how many people that power was executed upon while it was intact.

And he didn't really remove that part... he just added, "Guidelines."

http://rt.com/usa/news/obama-directive- ... ntion-539/

And Obama's proposed budget would add 6.4 trillion to our national debt over the next 10 years. So he's every bit as bad as Romney.

Well you're in the minority.
Perhaps you should have a conversation with an Irishman or a Greek about whether we should give a crap about our sovereign debt.

When that sort of thing goes bad it fucks everyone.

meh. michigan is going to obama with or without my vote. its not even up for debate. im more worried that all the republican nominees are attacking planned parenthood than the debt.

Planned parenthood is nice. But living in a country that isn't spiraling into chaos, disease, and famine is nice too. And if we don't balance the budget and solve our debt problems, that's what we're facing.

pick your poison. if we cut back on social programs and slash unions (and their wages that ultimately go with it) the debt will be the last thing on peoples minds. if our debt is at 15 trillion or whatever, and the bottom hasnt fallen out of the country yet, whats to say its going to fall out over obamas supposed 6 trillion addition? have we set an arbitrary number yet for when the united states falls into chaos?

ultimately, the debt will increase regardless of whose in office. might as well vote for whose political agenda aligns with my beliefs most.

What the eff do unions have to do with the national debt?
Unions account for only 12% of the work force.

It's called default and it's arrival is predictable.
Again, see Ireland and Greece. Or don't and just keep arguing about the debt as if it's imaginary, I don't care.

swing and a miss. i meant a candidate running for president this fall. and a real candidate.

ultimately, the debt will increase no matter who is president next term. hence why i dont care. so ill vote where my political agenda lines up the most.

You're smoking the reefer if you think that under Ron Paul the debt would go up.

Edit: editted for unsportsmanlike conduct.
