The following article stirred some real emotion in me as I read it. My grandfathers, both WWII vets raised me, and I have felt since birth a deep seeded respect for the greatest generation. This story is a great one, the debate between each generation of veterans is one I cannot partake in. Any street named after a veteran swells me with pride.
However, the response by locals reading the article at the bottom of the story is priceless. Born and raised in N. Tonawanda, I found myself laughing pretty hard at the responses.
Here ya go.
