Back in the 70s Buffalo had an NBA team called the Braves. They played their home games in the Aud and after they moved all of their "stuff" was stored in the basement. A while back, before the Aud was taken down, I bought one of the Jumbo Tron team signs for the Chicago Bulls. It measures something like 54" wide by 18' tall (ill get more exact measurements later). Its blue background with the word Bulls written across the front (pictures will come up later).

Well i have no place to put it and am looking to sell it. i know it has little to do with hockey, and i doubt many here care about the Chicago Bulls but it is a piece of the Aud.

Anyone interested?

im not entirely sure if thats sarcasm or not so ill assume your serious.

yes, buffalo had the braves from 70-78 before they moved a couple of times and ended up being the LA Clippers.

I knew this :D I only cared about a basketball team because it was Buffalo, even though it was definately before my time.

How much are you looking to get for the Bulls sign?

perhaps the bar phil frequents would be interested. what else did they have down there? seems like there was a ton of stuff odd about the aud and stuff was stored and seemingly forgotten about.

I'm gonna take some snap shots of my autographed seat-backing by the French Connection and the brick the Mr's and I lifted from the demo site as soon as I'm not lazy and can find the memory card for the camera.

Side note, anyone know where a person can find a full seat? (Blue, orange) Still intact and able to sit in?

Edit: K, I found the card so I have no reason to not post these, lol.

This next one, I added our pic to the back side of the picture just in case anyone ever questioned the validity of the brick. That is the Mrs. holding the brick in the picture standing in front of what was left of the Aud at the time.

did someone email me about the sign?

i got an email today and the guys email address was @erie.gov. i know that the city of Buffalo has been looking into getting the stuff that was taken back so im a little cautious to respond back if its not from someone here. i would rather avoid any possible legal things that could happen.

I would be willing to take the scoreboard panel off your hands...what are you looking to get for it?
