Is it a bad thing when I would prefer Gaustad back instead of Rivet????

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

I think we all prefer that considering the level that Gaustad's play has risen to. But no disrespect, you gotta have Rivet back there keeping dogs like Carcillo at bay

Great news to hear Rivet will be back sooner than expected. Goose, on the other hand, losing him for "A couple weeks", is going to hurt big time. We do have enough guys sitting right now, that we can try out in his spot without smashing up the lines. I say leave'em as they were yesterday, and plunk Mair in Goose's spot. A gritty vet that brings some decent sand paper.

As for Kaleta being in on a call with the league, I will be pissed the FUCK OFF if he gets anything out of this. Was it boarding? Good chance in it. Did the Philthy player turn his numbers into him last second? Looked like it, yeah. Was it the same thing Ovechkin did to Patty? You're god damn fucking right it is!!!

If Patty gets time, then shouldn't the FHL (Farce Hockey League) go back and suspend OV? Or are they above slapping one of their star players on the wrist and telling him not to do it again? Kaleta gets time for this, then I say fuck you Bettman/Daily. Fuck you and your fucking double standards. Next time, I hope someone takes out one of your bread winners in Crosby or the "Great 8". Hopefully Mike Richards so you can suspend him and make it really worth while. I'm not sure who I hate more in terms of media hype, Crosby or OV. But I know one thing, I hate OV more than that stupid god damn "Ole" chant in Montreal.

The hitting from behind needs a serious review, in my opinion. The players need to be held accountable for placing themselves in a prone position half the time - especially when it's last second, and the forechecker is already in the process of finishing his check.

I hope Rivet doesn't get rushed...I hope its not one of those injuries that he gets cleared but it nags him for the next few months

They will take their time with Goose, I believe. As much as I'd love to see him back asap, I'd sooner take the time with him and have him come back good and healthy. Same with Rivet to a point. As important as those faceoff draws are with Goose at the dot, I think we really need Rivet in the lineup to toss knuckles (as seen in the Philthy game) and it's great he had a full practice yesterday. My guess is he sits atleast one more and we'll see him Saturday night when the Rags come to town.

Not when he's winning almost 70% of his faceoffs.
