Yikes! By the sound of that news, you would think that there was a massive puddle of blood on the ice, but it really didn't look that bad. But man, did it look painful on the replay. Looked like he got nailed pretty hard, and then a second time immediately after for good measure. Hope he has a full recovery. I wonder if he will come back early with a full shield? |

Holy jesus. I'll give him credit though, he came back to finish the game and is bouncing back early from the surgery. Hopefully he'll bring something good to the team this weekend when he comes back. As much flak as he's taken for being "injury prone", he's played through and come back from some nasty stuff. Regardless of whether that stuff affects his game now, or whether he plays a gritty enough game, I hope he can produce with Vanek and Adam/random winger and have something to shove back at all the people that use him as their whipping boy. |
