I can't think of any moves that would make this team a playoff contender.
I say eff it and save the money.

Doesn't have to be that, could move money for picks and prospects.

Meh, I don't see Darcy doing anything either. He will rotate various players from Portland since the Sabres are losing ground daily in the standings. Sad that this isn't even front page news on NHL.com

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

All I want is to see my favorite hockey team compete hard every night and have a shot at the playoffs.

Is that too much to ask?

Yeah, pretty rough when your second (Roy) third (Pominville) fourth (Stafford) and sixth (Connolly) best goal scorers all go down with injuries in addition to your superstar goalie missing time.

There's the spirit! We aren't dead yet, people!
Now that we've all had a good cry in our beer, let's see what can be figured out.
Who are our remaining centers? Who's a natural, who can make-do, who's in the system?
I figure we can mope for the next few months or try to make the best of it. And moping is way overrated.

C'mon you roster mavens, who have we got?

(yes, I know I am being obnoxious, but there is only so much moaning I can take. no sense crying over broken boy-toys!)

There is Stuart  and Adam  in Portland.
Also Hecht  in the line up can play center.
Then there is BRAD RICHARDS :D   , I think he would look great in Roy's place.
But he's not on our team and it doesn't look like he's stopping in for an open house witht the Sabres. :(

:laughing-rolling: He may technically be able to play center but he hasn't done shit the whole season.
