Just head that upper-body nonsense....ugh.
Anyone see what it could have been?

From what they're saying, it could be lingering bumps/bruises from the NJ game from some high shots that were re-aggravated by the Phaneuf shot last night.

I hope Tom's assumption is a little more accurate about this. :S

shit...yeah I remember that now.
Hopefully it's just a "sit in the press box with your bruise" day.

I would have sat him anyway, regardless of injury. But that's just me.

As would I, but they last couple times they sat him to rest they said so...they didn't call it an injury.

Right, just saying that whether he was injured or not, he should have sat the game either way.

Not that it is that big of a deal, but going on the pretty good assumption that Lalime will ride shotgun tonight, was there a release that he had been cleared to return to play? Just curious because I don't recall seeing one is all..

I was really hoping they'd play Enroth last night, Miller tonight. That option looks even better in hindsight.

And on another note, we have GOT to snap this bullshit string of losing to Toronto. It's seriously not funny or amusing anymore.

We call up a rookie and ride him through the playoffs like many of the recent successful teams have.

I guess he's day-to-day, and Lindy said that Phaneuf's shot is "part of" what's keeping him out. I'm guessing it's just a sore collarbone. If it was anything more serious like a broken collarbone I don't think he'd be day-to-day.

if he broke his clavicle last night, he wouldnt have finished. the clavicle always breaks out, so it would be hitting his chest protector, and thus would have been extremely painful.
