WGR550 - "Paetsch Likely To Play In Tampa Bay"

Loods isn't off to a very healthy start this season. It sucks he'll be out, but I always like what Paetsch brings into the lineup - hustle, attitude, and good vision.

I like Nathan...a hard worker who brings more grit, toughness and scoring ability than Ludes.

What do you think this would do to the defensive pairings? Wasn't he playing with Myers?

(BTW, I have been told that I specialize in stupid questions :shifty: )

Lydman has been kind of mediocre so far. Some good physical play, some head scratchers. I always liked Paetsch.

Nuthatch, Paetsch will play with Montador, if Lindy keeps the pairings intact. I expect him to, given his pre-discussed decision to keep good pairs and lines together. I think Paetsch will be good for Montador, bringing some fearlessness and hustle to their pairing.

I don't mind this. I've always been a fan of Toni, but I like Patches a lot. He's gritty, and always hustles.

Ruff said the groin was just too sore.

Hmmm Toni what have you been doing lately?

you must have never pulled a groin before. i mean, in a way that didnt require an issue of "drunk chicks" and a bottle of jergins.

No, I meant it as a sex reference of course.

But nope, never pulled a groin before, did pull a muscle in my lower back which really sucked badly.

Ya, I'm fine with this. Toni has always rubbed me the wrong way(mostly his concentration/borderline retarded give-aways). He has seemed a bit tentative(maybe lazy) at times. He is a strong guy who has made a few nice plays, but the team is demanding consistency. Flashy play seems to be less tolerated this year, and that's good.

Paetsch laid some goood body down, last night. Wonderfully physical; looking to make a statement.

You go, Nathan.
