His injury was just cramping cause of coffee. At least that's what he said.

Now he's saying he had a cup of coffee in the morning and that it was a joke.

I'm done with this guy.

The Sabres haven't had a reliable backup since Biron.
That's a long effin time to rely on your #1 for wins.

I don't want to say he doesn't care, but what athlete doesn't know that drinking a few cups of coffee before playing hockey for 3 hours is a bad idea? It's not like this is Jhonas' first rodeo.

It's his contract year. I don't care if he's gone after this year.

I'm no goalie, but on a game day, I have a routine of two cups of coffee early, two eggs, two slabs of bacon and two cuts of toast then one cup of OJ and then the last 3 hours before a game is nothing but water. I've never locked up like that, but I'm no goalie, or have had the same workload and considering his post to post play in that last game, it obviously hit him harder than usual.

Not offering an excuse, but I can see how it may have hampered him. I played for the first time since Xmas, last Sunday and my left leg is still feeling major muscle fatigue from it. When you don't play that much and then tossed into the fire, it's kind of understandable

Well yeah, shit happens, but he basically made a stupid joke about his injury that didn't even sound like a joke.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan how he played it out to be a coffee/proper hydration thing, but I can understand it. Also, I wouldn't be shocked if he is moved in favor of a net minder that Rolston is more in favor of either soon or at the end of the season. I can see coach Rolston sticking around and I’m not against that, to be honest and if that happens, we’ll see a few more Amerks in Buffalo as opposed to what we've seen in recent times.

I wouldn't be against seeing Leggio coming up for a few games if possible.

nothing will happen till we get a new permanent head coach. If its Rolston, great, if its Cunneyworth, even better, but nothings going to change until that gets settled first.

Last i've checked, Leggio would have to clear waivers when we would reassign him to the Amerks, sooo that wouldnt be likely. Plus, bringing him up for a bit would hurt the Amerks too much, because, who exactly do they have in net. And them playing scared of doing anything wont exactly help their development, let alone winning.
