Skate cuts linesman's neck

"WOODSTOCK, Ont. - A linesman is in hospital after his neck was cut by a skate blade during a Junior C hockey game Tuesday night in Woodstock, Ont.

The linesman was cut in the third period of a 4-4 tie between the Woodstock Renegades and New Hamburg Firebirds. Two players fell to the ice during a scrum after the Renegades scored the tying goal, and one of their skates came up and cut the linesman.

Witnesses say the unidentified man was gushing blood as he skated off the ice, but collapsed before he could reach the benches.

He was rushed to hospital and there's no word yet on his condition."

Scary. Ugly. Hope he is out of harm's way and recovers quickly.

The guy is still in critical condition which is scary.

Also the doctor here in London, who has never played hockey, wants to have a complete ban for fighting in hockey.
