Yes, first time in the tourney, and only 3 season eligible for the post-season since moving from D3 to D1 5 years ago. First two years were "probation" years and they could start playing in the conference tourney in their third year. Beating #2 ranked Denver, and then UNH who upset #6 Cornell in the first round is pretty damn impressive. It certainly shows that this Cinderella team has the goaltending and firepower to make a serious run at a title, with only two more wins needed anything can happen. As an aside, RIT entered as the #15 seed out of 16 teams....
