I don't think he is worth a first rounder, I thought he would be a good second... He isn't much of a scoring guy. NHL is best point total will probably be 30-60...

A power forward reaching 45-60 points is a very effective power forward. Hitting, merciless forecheck, defending his teammates, and chipping in for 45-60? That's a helluva power forward right there.

Truth, if you name some of the best power forwards in the NHL, they are never a point per game player, but they chip in around 60 points every year.

The Petes play against Niagara again tonight. Lets hope Kassian makes more of an impact.
I'm so psyched for our future. The next 2-4 seasons should be real treats.

Kassian didn't play tonight. What's up with that? Injured?

It was mostly a question I was asking myself. Lemme see what I can dig up...aha, Mr. Kassian has been invited to attend Hockey Canada's tryout camp for the Under-18 Team. That's where he's at.

I find this very strange since he is 18 and its the U-18's. But I very often doubt Phil. But being an 18 yo already this seems strange to me.

Nevermind...that is from 2008. The Petes' webmaster needs to get it together.

Lol. As soon as I read that Phil I thought maybe he had gotten a late call to the WJC camp since Hodgson can't go. Unfortunately he did not. Apparently HockeyCanada doesnt like his competitiveness or the lack there of it. But I only heard that in a forum on HFboards.
