6th overall with 72 points in 45 games with 40 goals and 32 assists.

Had he played all the games this year, he would probably be second in Q scoring.

That's it. I'm in the trunk of the Luke Adam bandwagon. Just so long as I'm on board.

Why do I get the impression that 3 years from now our team will be completely different than it is today.

Because our recent drafts have been amazing.

Adam, Ennis, McNabb, Foligno, and Kassian have all been great picks, not to mention Myers.

Byron, Brennan, and a few others may pan out, but these 5 kids up and coming are really going to be the new "core" of this team in about 2 or 3 seasons.

And by that time, Vanek, Coy, Pominville, and Connolly will have been together for a long time also, and into their prime years.

I'll reserve judgement on whether or not these were good picks until they actually perform on a regular basis at the NHL level. But, it would appear as though Ennis may pan out, it remains to be seen until he gets that NHL time.
As for Myers, ya, he is a big time winner. Franchise D man.

As for Adams, Tropp, Kassian and some others, only time will tell, but I optimistic

As fans, we rate our prospects higher than The NHL teams and scouts do. Of all the prospects listed, I'd think there are none that are sure things. Kassian I would expect as the most likely to play because of his toughness and fighting ability. It's just a matter of what line his skill set allows for him to play on.

I think Ennis and Luke are interesting prospects, but not sure things.....

Yeah, I'm not sold on Kassian and Foligno yet. Adam and Ennis are certainly helping their stock with their play this season, but they haven't been NHL tested yet.

Crosby, Ovechkin, Lemeiux, Potvin, Lafluer, Malkin..........

Oh yes there are; it's just not that often they come along. :shhh:

Ennis had one game and fared well, even scoring that game.

I know one game doesn't make a player but if he plays like he did his only NHL game this season he is going to be a great player for us.

He could get 82 goals a season!!! no assists though, he apparently hates to pass the puck. :hand:

Luke is going for a goal in 11 straight games tonight. So far he's pointless, but Lagace has two assists.

Sweet, Lagace was a great pickup for Crep Breton.

Luke's streak was stopped at ten games, but he picked up an assist tonight instead.

Down 3-0 in the first, the Screaming Eagles came back on Luke Adam's 1+2 (and 10 shots, Jesus!) to win it 6-4!

With 3 points tonight, Adam moves back into third in scoring with 76 points. This leaves him 2 back from second and 7 back from the top!
