The flu eh? I know Caron was quarintined from the team because he was sick but I never heard anything about Adam having the flu. Did he just get the flu recently, like today or yesterday?

Bob McKenzie is speculating that Luke Adam has a strong chance of getting moved up to the top line with Hamonic out for the gold medal game.

When is the gold medal game?

And it's US vs Canada right?

It's his time in the spotlight, and Luke scores the opening goal of the gold medal game!

Not a great goal but at least he scored when it means the most.

Adam was one of the only players who was not named Eberle who showed up tonight in the gold medal game. I can not wait until he is up with this team in a few years

6 gp 4g 4a 8pts 8 PIMs +9

He was T-3rd on the team in goals, T-5th on the team in points, and T-1st on the team in +/-.

That's really good for a guy who wasn't a Top 5 draft pick or in the first round.

Not yet, but we'll find out if he is tomorrow - Cape Breton has a game.

Adam had an assist tonight, and Lagace also had a goal.

Not too shabby. I still can't believe he put up those kind of numbers in the WJ. Tough to see him not get the gold though. I guess NL will have to wait for hockey gold..
