Mark Mancari put up an unbelievable 5 assists in tonight's 6-1 Pirate victory. Ennis scores twice, as does Cowan. Enroth continued to dominate the AHL, allowing just one goal on 38 shots.

Some damn good cooking going on down on the farm. Might be time for a call-up soon.

That was from Tuesday, actually. Best part about that - farmboys are on a 4 game winning streak. Ennis continues to be consistent...love it!

If the A was the N, then Mancari would be a household name.

It's not; and neither is he........ :(

You know, in all honesty, could he possibly be any softer or less productive than Stafford?

I can't wait for Ennis to be a regular up here. He is a natural finisher; something this team lacks right now, unless Vanek and Pominville can start hitting the net more regularly.

Don't get me wrong, because those two have been better.

But Ennis is going to be the type of player that you'll be on the edge of your seat every time the puck is on the blade of his stick in the offensive zone.

What I also like about Ennis is he's NOT soft. He plays hard with a little edge in addition to his skills. I see him replacing Roy.

Definitely.

I loved seeming him go right through Pronger to get to the front of the net in Philly. Didn't think twice about it.

Sadly, that's true. He could also help our PP with his gun from the point.

Hey, did anyone look at the roster sheet for this game.
Is it telling that niether Gerbe or Persson were in the line up for this game? Is there any reason as to why these 2 were not in the line up?

Well he is a bit taller than Roy, 5'11 isn't he?

Well Kennedy is 5'11 I know that, or 5'10.

But I think Ennis is a better Roy for sure.

Gerbe must be injured.

Persson plain fucking sucks. Most retarded draft pick by Darcy - ever. Soft Swedish defenseman, less than elite skills, projected as a second rounder. Nope; let's take her in the first.

I think, based on the 2009 draft, Darcy knows he fucked up big time on this pick.

Gerbe has had a nagging groin injury for a while now.

Artem "The Concussion Russian" Kriukov was a much worse 1st round pick, IMO.
