I guess I'll throw this here cuz it's slow and then after a couple of weeks it can get moved into Prospects or whatever.

and miss Buffalo's 1st ever Stanley Cup celebration? Please. I'm pretty sure this message board will become a fluffpot of tears BTW. And me? I'll pretend that I had everything to do with it, and then walk into the river with a greatsword in hand. Never to return from the murky depths of the Mon until I hear the cries of another destitute hockey franchise.

So, Portland now has Gragnani, Crawford, Bieksa, Persson, Brennan, and Schiestel. Well, and Weber too, if he doesn't make the Sabres.

Who the fuck knows. First they announce they're writing and now they're just coming off of a collection of tour dates from June and July. I'd give it another year before 10,000 Days' follow-up is released. And that's only if Maynard doesn't get bored and go back to making wine again.

10,000 Days was too eh for me to be really excited about the prospect of a new Tool album.

Well, it's gonna be hard for them to ever top Lateralus, IMO.

Back on topic, the Sabres and Pirates both have 7 defensemen. When the fuck did that happen haha.

Topic? Gragnani? Pfff! Let's stay off topic. Anyone hear the new Arcade Fire album yet?

Are you retarded?? Granted 10k was no Lateralus but it was absolutely EPIC!

If they all shit in a cup and release that it will be 10000000000 times better then anything else anybody else has out there.

Tool is getting kind of stale, I will admit. Still good, but nowhere near what they used to be. 10,000 Days is definitely behind Lateralus and Undertow, and probably on par with Aenima. Let's face it, they do Tool almost as a side project now - Maynard is a successful vintner, Adam Jones is an award-winning VFX artist, and the other two are busy with their own business ventures.

It was a good album by an average band's standards. It was really eeeeehhhh by Tool standards. The title track was the only really tremendous one on the album. Everything else was good at best.

EDIT: And if Tool at their worst is thousands of times better than anything else being put out today, then you're not listening to much current music.
