The Pirates have played two games and have as many wins. Mancari is tied for the scoring lead with 5 pts and Adam is tied for second with 4 pts. Adam has also been named Player of the Week for the first week of the season after his four point night. |

I was at both of the games, the explosion of offense was a great way to start the season. 11 goals in two games?! I had concerns after losing Gerbe & Ennis, but Luke Adam is going to (I hope) be a beast this year. The defense has me a bit worried with Persson coughing up the puck like a chain smoker. As far as I am concerned, he owes Enroth a steak dinner after every game. |

No, unless there is an injury Luke wont be called up. If he keeps up this pace how sick would it be to have the AHL rookie of the year 3 years in a row? |

Adam I do and it looks like he may just keep his pace up. He was a 49 goal scorer in Juniors last year. I really can't wait until his skating is at an NHL level. |

If Adam wins the Dudley Garret, I say Regier re-signs Mancari for 10 years and just keeps plugging new offensive prospects onto the top line in Portland haha |
