Yep. I'm glad they aren't playing the Monarchs...they gave the Pirates fits this season.

Going to goto the game next Friday in Binghamton. Never been to that arena and only have been to a few AHL games (one at hsbc and a few in Albany)

So, pretty excited.

So what Sabres go down? Enroth, Ellis, Mancari, Grags? Am I missing anyone? Would they send Enroth down to get more Playoff experience?

Does anyone know of any (Video) streaming links for the Pirates games? I have the audio link, but to watch some kind of relevant hockey would be awesome.

No video streams I can think of besides the ones you have to pay for.

And yes, MAG, Mancari, Ellis, and Enroth are all eligible to go back to Portland. Will they? Well, game one of the second starts in 5 hours and we haven't heard anything yet. Possibly just a maintenance day.

The Pirate would definitely be stacked (by their standards) if they could get those four back in the lineup

Well, all of them besides MAG were officially returned to the Pirates. The beat writer that covers the Pirates, however, has noted that MAG still has his exit interview to take care of. The other three are in the line-up tonight.

Ellis assists on Maxime Legault's series-opening goal. Pirates up 1-0.

Pirates up 2-0 in the second. Whitmore and Mancari with the goals. Enroth in net.

I read that Grag's cannot go back down because he would have to clear waivers. So he may play for Team Canada.

Defenseman Marc-Andre Gragnani did not return to Portland for the AHL playoffs because he would have had to clear waivers, and the Sabres were not going to take that chance. Gragnani may play for Team Canada in the world championships.

MAG already accepted his invitation. He's playing for Canada.

Nice... Add some power and scoring for the Pirates. Think he'll do good in the AHL playoffs?

hopefully being around professionals will give this kid some perspective of how to act, because his undisciplined play wont float with the sabres, IMO.

Pirates up 1-nil. O'Hanley with the goal. Pirates held the B-Sens to no shots during their first kill, going back to the kill now.
