His next goal will tie his output all of last season, and he's playing with proper skilled linemates now. I'd say the question is certainly being answered.

I was very surprised with the touch Kassian puts on his passes, I never knew he was a crafty playmaker! Not a lot of play making wingers with attitude to EVER play the game. Rare bird.

I'm very surprised with Foligno, looks like his little bit of time with the Sabres at camp has helped tremendously.

Dunno. His production has been good (he tied all of last season's production today in terms of goals scored) but i think his training camp will determine where he goes.

It depends on his skating skills. If it's still like it was this year he needs Portland time, if it is much improved, he's with Buffalo next year and Adam and Kassian fill in for Connolly and Stafford.

So? He's still a FA. Sabres still have to re-sign him.

He doesn't have to be signed by Buffalo.

I hope they don't. Why people still defend Stafford is beyond me.

It all depends on how he does when he comes back from his injury. If he doesn't do well enough to earn a contract don't sign him. Let go of the guys who aren't cutting it and are FA.

if there was a RWer to let go and one to bring back, id rather pominville GTFO and bring back stafford. of course, pominvilles contract/play make him unmovable. no one would take him.

i would hate for the sabres to let stafford go, and someone like grier move on/retire, then the sabres have pominville, and probably mancari locked into a spot. or something.

i hope they bring back stafford, hes looked pretty good before his injury.
