If he keeps his nose clean and shows up for camp ready to take the job, then who is going to stop him? Stafford? Pomminville? He would likely be better then either of those guys in his rookie season. The only way I would even consider bring Stafford back is if they can find a way to trade Pomminville, because Stafford would take up considerably less cap space. |

Pominville isn't getting traded. He's got an NMC with a modified NTC. |

Interesting that you brought this up X, I too was thinking on a Pommers trade. Not that there aren't takers out there for him, I think the Islanders would give up a 2nd and 5th rounder for him. But ya, Kassian can take the RW position from either him or Stafford if he shows up at camp. I agree. |

all if not most are 19/20 yr olds in a league that includes 16 yr old kids. just saying i would expect them to dominate and it is good to see they are doing that. |

But even still, you simply don't just jump in one year in skill like that, well most of the time you simply don't put up 4 times the amount of points you did the previous year. A lot of the players who put up those numbers did their first year in juniors also, or many of the really high draft picks did at least. Crosby, Stamkos, Tavares, countless others too. |
