Quick update on McNabb - point per game in Kootenay's series win over Moose Jaw. I'll let Seanothan do the dirty details. |

Yeah, I really break my back for this board Kootenay eliminated Moose Jaw in game 6 last night, so McNabb plays on, and as Phil said, he's a point per game so far 66. Brayden McNabb (6GP, 2G, 4A, 6P, +8, 8PIM) Kootenay advances to 2nd round BZK and the Spitfires take on Erie tomorrow night in game 7 of that series. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Kassian if Windsor is eliminated... Shame that we won't get more of Sundher this year. It looks like he's really coming along |

Yeah, but there have been rumors that the Sabres don't want him on the Pirates roster until the fall, due to his supposed uninspired play since the World Juniors. But take that with a grain of salt. That being said, I hope he makes it to Portland for the playoffs. I'm anxious to see what he can do against the pros |

Yeah, that rumor comes from some I know a guy who knows a guy who knows/works around the Spits kinda thing. Kris Baker from Sabres Prospects thinks Kassian will be given his ATO the minute the Spits are eliminated, which could be today. |

With all do respect to Windsor and their fans, I sure hope they get bounced. It's time for BZK: Phase 2 |

Windsor beats Erie 5-4 in game 7, so BZK and the Spits live on... 13. Zack Kassian (7GP, 1G, 6A, 7P, -3, 12PIM) |

Not much talk here about Brayden McNabb as he's helping Kootenay Ice in the playoffs. Look at his numbers for the season. Season Team GP G A PTS +/- PIM 2010-11 Regular Season Kootenay Ice 59 21 51 72 25 95 Now his playoff stats Season Team GP G A PTS +/- PIM 2011 WHL Playoffs Kootenay Ice 7 2 6 8 8 8 Looks like another solid offensive defensiveman in the system that has good size and skill. Now all we need is to draft a ton of offensive players this year and another goalie and the system should be looking mighty sweet. |

McNabb isn't exactly an offensive defenceman. He plays a lot of minutes for Kootenay so he picks up a lot of second assists. He'll be a two way dman in the NHL at best. Probably more suited to be a defensive dman. |

McNabb is an absolute beast, a workhorse in all situations. His fights and PIMS are down this year so he gets more ice-time. As the Ice go deeper into the Chynoweth Cup playoffs, he'll get more minutes. Trust me, I love me some McNabb...I'm the WHL's biggest American cheerleader. |

Probably more suited to be a defensive dman. Which is just fine since we have Leopold, Grags, Sekera, and Myers who are usually involved offensively. He'll be a great fit in Buffalo. A paring of McNabb-Myers in a couple of years??? |

Just realize that it's the battle of the Braydens- Kootenay vs Saskatoon Can't wait for McNabb to take Schenn to the woodshed |

Both will come into the organization around the same time. I think they even played together a bit at the WJC tryouts. |
