Portland will rep the WHL. You can't stop hippie power with prairie-power.

Nicely done Sean. I think of that every time I hear a Pittsburgh announcer talk about "flower power" with Fleury.

McNabb had 1 assist, finished even, and had 4 PIMS in the Ice's game 1 OT win. His assist came on the tying goal late in the third. He has a six-game point streak going, at 2 PPG.

Portland lost the first game of the western conference finals 2-1. Boychuk had no points and 2 PIM. Spokane leads WCF 1-0.

The Ice are up 2-0 and are outshooting the Tigers 30-18 to start the third period. McNabb is scoreless so far but is +2

I only caught the last part of the 3rd period, but they look VERY good

McNabb with an assist on the winning goal tonight. His point streak is extended to 8 games. Ice win 3-1, are up 3-0 in games. They play game four at home tomorrow.

From looking at game recaps and the stats, the Ice are an unstoppable machine right now. I think their winning streak is at like 9 games.

Edit: Correction - 10 game winning streak

Brayden McNabb has 2 assists and is +4 after 40 minutes. He's got 20 points and a 9 game point streak this post season. Barring a horrific collapse, the Ice will win their 11th straight playoff game including 2 straight sweeps and will advance to the Chynoweth Cup finals.

Brayden McNabb's scoring (17 assists, 20 points, 9 game point streak) has set MORE Kootenay Ice defenseman records. I don't know if his +20 is a franchise record, but I'd bet it is.

Brayden McNabb ended the game in the dressing room after earning 5 and a game for fighting Emerson Etem. Ice wins. They're in the finals.

Winterhawks won game 3 and are up 2-1 over Spokane in the series. I haven't check the box score, so no stats for Boychuk. Ryan Johansen scored the OT winner.

I'm gonna assume that if Portland wins game 4, they'll take it in five. If Spokane wins, I'll guess it goes to game 7.

I'm hoping for a short series so I can save my cash to go see Kootenay in the finals.

Correction here, Johansen scored the tying goal late in the 3rd, Brendan Leipsic in OT.
