True, but he's 5th on the team in points (tied), and 3rd in goals (tied) I'm not saying he's now a top-six NHL forward in the making, but it's nice to see our 7th round pick showing up, even if his team is indeed, stacked... |

This much is true. I can't believe Portland hasn't eliminated Kelowna yet. Went to game 4 and Portland just looked completely out of Kelowna's league. |

I went to game 5 and Kelowna played pretty well, but really it was all about the rocket's goaltender Brown. He faced 55 shots from Portland and let in one goal. Kelowna wasn't dominated, but the goalie stole them that game. Guess he couldn't repeat that performance in game 6. |

And as for Boychuk, I've seen the Hawks three times this year, and he's not the reason they are so good. Perfectly serviceable 2nd or 3rd liner in the WHL, but i don't know if he'll ever see much NHL time. |

Kass had the game winner tonight. Spits even up the series with the Attack. Shipley didn't factor in as his Ice Dogs beat the Majors 5-3. |

Also, if the Spits beat Owen Sound, and Mississauga takes out Niagara, the Spits get an automatic berth to the their 3rd straight Mem Cup, since the Majors are hosting... |

You think whoever wins the Ice/Tigers series will take the Chynoweth Cup? |

mechaphil wrote: You think whoever wins the Ice/Tigers series will take the Chynoweth Cup? Tough to say, I think Portland might be the team to beat (Johansen, Niederreiter, Bartschi, Rattie). Although, Saskatoon was apparently stacked too, and Kootenay took them apart... Either way, it's looking like we'll be seeing two or three of our prospects in the Memorial Cup.. |
