Can I make a request? Can you add in their positions? I don't know a lot of these guys, and seeing big scoring or small scoring makes a difference between a forward and a defenseman, you know?

^ I didn't realize how many points Sundher had scored.

Does anyone have any info on him? I don't know much about the guy.

I thought he was still playing for Victoria. Brandon is traditionally a really good program, and those are great numbers for the WHL, but I don't know as much about the Eastern Conference.

Ouch, looks like Sundher was traded right around the New Year. He was killing it in the Western Conference, 64 points in 40 games. In Brandon, he has 6 points in 11 games.

Last Saturday I went to see Colin Jacobs and the Seattle Thunderbirds take on the Winterhawks. There were some positives. He struck me as the best player in a Seattle uniform and he scored a goal. However, Portland just fucking dominated that game and won 11-2. It was THE most lopsided game I've ever attended at any level. Hard to tell how much of it was Seattle playing terribly and how much of it was because the Winterhawks are a great team. But Jacobs could maybe be a lower-level prospect in the near future. He impressed me a lot more than say Riley Boychuk to compare him to another forward prospect I've seen.

I will say this though, there are a couple of draft year gems in Brendan Leipsic and Derrick Pouliot on the Winterhawks. They won't go high 1st round like players like Rattie, Bartschi, Nieteritter and Johansen did, but they will both be good NHL players IMO.

Looks like Armia has picked up his game as the season progressed and JGL continues to absolutely tear up the Q.

38 points still isn't very impressive. I'm not sold on the kid, yet.

26th in the SM-liiga in scoring. Top scorer has 62 points. It's not a very high scoring league, that's for sure.

I feel like we're looking at Armia's stats and then using what we hear (doesn't give his all, takes shifts off, etc. etc.) and we get worried about him.

Of course, if you looked at Alexander Ovechkin's Russian stats, people would realize that stats players put up in Europe has nothing to do with what a player could put up in the NHL.
