I was surprised Luke Adam got sent down. I was hoping we'd see more of him in preseason.

I was really hoping Kassian and Foligno were kept up, to show their stuff...

I was pretty surprised by Ennis, last night. He was everywhere. Good hustle.

Enroth did very well, too - He didn't seem to have a great deal of help, on the couple of goals scored. Gragnani was definitely a disappointment - Perhaps a career AHL'er...

Ennis was beastly quick last night. A little cannonball of energy.

I would have liked to have seen Kassian play at least one exhibition contest....

He's the only one of the lot that surprised me. I think it surprised him even more. WGR's website had plenty to say about him on Friday afternoon including a reference to Kassian being very excited to see his name on a pre-season game roster. Only hours later, he was sent packing.

I'd say let the rookies play one pre season game give them something to work for. i mean sure it is pre season but you get to see at least some of the NHL speed. and since it is pre season the games don't count. i would think it would help in their development to play at least one game especially because don't we have like 6 this year. so you let them play one and have five games to still get the veterans warmed up.

and the only reason i could see sending down adam is that he was out most of the season with an injury, though he looked good in camp, thats the only reason i can see regier thinking send him down, maybe the injury hindered his development a bit.

Especially ennis i mean pommers was surprised with ennis, sylvester has a lot of good things to say about ennis. and if ennis can bring back the old jason pomminville, then it is definitely worth having him up here.
