Just curious what everyone's favorite music era is....I thought of this while driving the other day and realize that I like the 70's the best - whether is was old rock, pop, disco, etc...I like a lot of it from this era....

If you want you can state your favorite era, and what era you were born in......

I was born in 71' and prefer the 70's era

I picked the 00s because I'm not old. If I had to pick a bygone era, it'd probably be 80s.

While interesting music did come out of the 80's, I wouldn't consider most of it "good"...unless new wave, synthesizers and drum machines are your thing.

I voted for the 70's...it had everything from hippie music to disco to punk and good old southern rock.

Meh...Morrissey never did it for me.
In that genre I'd be more inclined to listen to the Violent Femmes and stuff like that. Morrissey was too emo.

The '60s, '70s, and '80s are all pretty top notch in my mind (though with the '80s, I only like certain artists; probably 80% of the music that came out then and received any recognition is as bad to me as most of the stuff from the '00s). I like some of the '90s, but really only select songs rather than entire genres or discographies, and then mainly just songs I liked when I was a kid. The pop and mainstream rock music of the '00s post-2003ish can disappear for all I care haha.

I'm going to go with the '70s. That decade was particularly diverse.

Sublime
R.E.M.
Smashing Pumpkins
Pearl Jam
Oasis

so much more. All amazing, all 90s.

I'll say 70's.

But I like all music mostly, except most of the crap today, some is good some is not, some sounds all the same and others are different.

But I should say more of the 30s, 40's, for the Blues in that time, and then 80's with SRV's revival of the Blues.

Anything older I tend to like more.

For me it's a toss-up between the 60's rock and roll, 70's psychedelia and early punk, 80's power metal and underground metal, and 00's underground metal and industrial
