I still say it's the 7th seed. A tall building to climb to be sure.
But it would appear the Sabres are bucking the trend, apparently size doesn't matter :?

I'll take 2 wins and 1 loss over and over again for an entire year actually.

Even in our remaining 33 games if we go 2-1 over the rest of the season that will be 22-11 record and good for 45-32-5 or 95 points.

We need to string together some wins longer than 2 a piece though, and if we lose we need to force extra time more often.

We're rolling right now. Hope they keep it up.

The current 6-8 seeds aren't playing very good hockey right now. Montreal, NYR, and Atlanta are all starting to tank.

7-3 in our last ten which is tied for second best in the league. If they keep up this level of play, they can get in. If they slow down they're going to need a little help.

Atlanta isn't playing great, and Enstrom is hurt now, too. Montreal has crazy injury problems, and lost tonight in Philly. Carolina is not that great at all. Rangers have serious injuries, too. We have to make our move now and get our foot in the door.

I don't care if it's 6, 7, or 8. I just want in it, and for a small chance for Royzie to get back in it, too. I can't believe we're 2 points back(pro-rated). Maybe I mailed it in too soon. Hey, what if Mancari comes up here, and actually does it. Ya never know what can happen.

It would solve a lot of problems. If Mancari can play up to his 225lb. frame consistently (which is an "if" as big as the Hollywood sign) that might spell the end for Grier.

Mancari has been given his chances, we all know how he does.

And Carolina is 6-4-0 in their last ten. I still don't see how they've been playing badly.

7-4-2 in January and one game left against the Islanders.

Buffalo is 8-3-1 in January. Buffalo has only earned one more point than Carolina in January to date.

I fail to see your logic that they are playing that badly.

Atlanta and Montreal will probably fall out and Carolina and Buffalo will take their places most likely.

Agreed, it doesn't mean he's out of them though.

Screw Mancari. I am on a Byron high right now and I want to see him up here until he overstays his welcome. Of course, I hope that never happens. I think the kid's got some talent for a 6th rounder.

And Byron is a center. I'm loving our younger players.

The way I see it, we're in the playoffs. It's only logical to assume that any >.500 club will get at least a point a game, so the 4 games at hand puts us ahead of ATL. It ties us with CAR, but we beat them head to head. 8th spot. Great comeback guys!
