He should stick to what he's good at....beating his wife. God knows he can't beat the opposition...

Why in God's name does he need to play.

I don't remember Mair doing anything especially bad, but I did notice Ruff juggling the lines all to hell again.

Never really was a big Mair fan, except when he would fight or talk shit.. Love his effort, but that only goes so far in the NHL..

Mair was a disappointment. Seemed unprepared and somewhat out of shape and winded.

Shouldn't have rushed him in, just to put him in. Lindy's starting to fuck with the successful chemistry that this team was developing.

He's a micromanaging motherfucker. And it will cost him his job, eventually. Maybe.

Nah. Darcy and Larry won't fire him - He's an "Olympic Coach".

Mair should not have been playing. He brought nothing to the table, to help the team.

Mair was pretty disappointing last night.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he has to get back to game speed after his injury, but why was he in for Ellis?

Mair was invisible. Hecht reverted back to his usual softer, meeker self, too, as did Tallinder.

Hecht had a few good moments.

True, but not very happy seeing him repeatedly wimping out on the forcheck.

Ellis is out with a quad contusion, according to Sabres.com
