I liked him because he was, you know, a monster. He just never looked good as a player. Now with John Scott we don't really need another big fighter with no skill on the ice.

As far as I remember, he went through some injury trouble, which I'm guessing deteriorated whatever skill he may have had.

As a Rochester fan, I'm pissed. He wasn't the greatest Dman in ROC, but he was a stay at home guy that would throw down to stick up for his teammates. I liked watching big Joe get mad at people.

I assume Corey Fienhage will be given a shot to take over role of big guy. In the event Pardy clears waivers, he'll be a nice vet to have.

You could tell last night the Amerks missed Finley, though.
