I hear that Grigorenko kid is ready to hold down one of the center slots. So who needs Hecht right?

I'd like to think that by the time we're worth a damn again, which won't be anytime soon, Grigs will be one of our top 2 or 3 centers.

If the Sabres weren't trying to prove some stupid point with Luke Adam, I'm sure he could have solved the "Jochen Hecht being a Sabre" problem. He's excelled at the center position in Rochester.

they say adam was horrific to start the season in the AHL, then he started coming on well.

So what you're saying is that people are saying... he has been excelling?

All kidding aside, yeah. He started the season at wing, didn't do well at it. They put him at center and he started playing really well. It's like he is naturally good at center or something...

In all seriousness, why do the Sabres feel the need to switch the centers they draft off to the wings?
